SID YOUNG presents : Glasgow Open House Festival
Set in a Dennistoun tenement flat, it retains its appearance as a living space-with a twist.The ceiling has remained a nomansland. Comprised of a bare landscape: aside perhaps from a solitary lamp. SID YOUNG explore this deserted area & ponder on how to transform a room whilst making functional/aesthetic additions. This concept deals with many layers - the limitations humanity have created; the borders between art & interior design; thinking outside of the box; the expectations of a household space; a play on the 'glass ceiling' due to both artists being female.
