Four very different artists come together to create 'A Pursuit of the Ungraspable', in which the works become effortlessly synchronised due to their similar roots in longing to understand through materials. Witnessed is a striving for something untangible - an ongoing search into the meaning of their surroundings. The uncertainty of our purpose provokes an existential wandering through the use of the hands, which brings the mind back to its physical body. The physicality of the materials used in each of the artists work is illustrative of this. The viewer is plunged into a familiar yet distorted realm - a fictional reality from the creatives minds. The balance is evident between the reality of the objects and the imagining of their narratives. There is both playfulness and darkness displayed in each of the artist's ouvre - reminiscent of the mind twisting reality into many shapes and forms, being dependent on the individuals perspective.
